Objective

Designed for teams who want to learn while applying Deliberate Creative Thinking directly to a real and important project activity. This is a collaborative team facilitation program that combines professional development with action to address a current challenge. Upon completion participants will:

  • Understand the nature of deliberate thinking and be familiar with valuable creative thinking approaches
  • Have used a number of thinking tools to explore a real issue, generate ideas and plan for action
  • Be enabled to promote innovation within their organisation based on their own success
  • Add value to strategic thinking, business planning and decision making at all levels
  • Have worked as a team to deliver a tangible outcome that the organisation considers important

This is a practical and targeted 3½-day program typically runs over six to eight weeks, integrating learning with team action designed to give participants and the organisation:

Outline

This 3½-day program requires participating teams to commit suitable time between training days to work on a chosen business challenge. While each program is tailored to your needs, a typical format involves 7 stages:

1. Day One - Deliberate Cre8ive Th!nking, Focus, Imagineering, Radiant Thinking
2. Teams identify the Project Focus and begin exploration
3. Day Two - Parallel Thinking, Cre8ive Ideation, Harvesting
4. Teams complete exploration and advance idea generation
5. Day Three - Designing ideas into solutions, Implementation
6. Teams design solutions and plan implementation
7. Day Four - Team presentations, Creating an Environment of Innovation
