Where can you be Innovative |
| Asking where you can be innovative is perhaps easier than asking what is innovation though not as straight forward as you might imagine. Some say you can be innovative anywhere, while others argue you need to innovate everywhere.
For organisations seeking greater success through innovation, answering the question of where to be innovative is vital, and it is clear many struggle to find an answer.
Innovation takes place in three broad areas.
- Technological innovation - research and development of new technology, products or services is seen as the ‘frontline’ of innovation and the domain of labs and start-ups.
- Organisational innovation - utilising technological innovation to transform the organisation, its products and services. Common in established enterprises, often involving all areas, although in different ways.
- Institutional innovation - where the focus is collaboration beyond the business boundaries. Countries like Australia see this as providing New Pathways to Prosperity and an aspirational goal.
At Mindwerx International our view is that the search for innovation, the journey of discovery, is what is of most importance for organisational leaders – at all levels. And our goal is to guide you along that journey through insights, tools and training.
