Help your High School Student Manage Information Overload
Jennifer often privately mentors High School students as she knows how hard it is to cope with all the new information and workload when studying.
Last week Jennifer got a call from Jemma who is in Year 11 (a Junior) who was really stressed and upset with all the things she had to do for school as exams are starting next week.
While she was told that Year 11 is a significant shift in learning she didn’t quite realise how hard it would be.
It felt like thousands and thousands of pieces of information was piling up and she was lost.
What was missing? A Big Picture Strategy to plan out the Term/Semester and the 18 months until the end of Year 12 (Senior Year) of her International Baccalaureate.
Just by simply mapping out a plan for her subjects over the term/semester, she can see all the things that need to be done, when and how much effort will be needed – or anything she wants to map out using different symbols or codes.
