The Head Man article above is a great Article from “Industry” Magazine – where Tony is talking about the need for thinking tools in Business – particularly the Board Room “To give a massive bio-computer like a brain a thinking tool of a cheap black pen and lined paper is like giving an astronaut a broomstick and saying, ‘get to the moon’.”

Jennifer liked it so much she converted it as an article to read in our Speed Reading Workshop – hence the Black Dots along the side – they signify 100 words.  Try speed reading it yourself

Creativity. Lost Cause or Learned Art? is another interesting Article on the nature of creativity and looks at the great debate “curriculum vs creativity”.  This would be a good article to practice your ‘Note Taking’ with a Mind Map.  Start with a power browse of the article, create your Central Image and main branches, then reread adding key points to your Mind Map as you go. And remember to begin with Focus and Purpose – why do you want to Mind Map the article – to summarise it, to learn some key action tips, or whatever.. Have fun.
